Greetings!
We
wanted to take a moment to thank all the students,
professionals and parents of the Lao Community who
came to take part in The Lao Group's (TLG) First Lao-American
Career Panel this past weekend (October 5, 2002).
There were approximately 20 students, 30 professionals
and 7 parents who came to share information about
their jobs/industries, how they arrived at their current
career positions, learn about various career fields,
support their children and simply network/get to know
other students and professionals in the Lao Community.
There were professionals in the fields of Economics,
Public Policy, Technology and Management Consulting,
Information Technology, Law, Healthcare, Graphic Design,
Broadcasting, County/State/Federal Government, Civil
Engineering, Military, Community Service. Your participation
at the event truly shows your desire to help build
people in the Lao community. Thank you all for making
TLG's First Lao-American Career Panel a great success.
